Which Android app is best?
TiViMate gives the closest experience to a traditional TV guide and is the favourite for TV boxes. IPTV Smarters Pro is simpler and works well on phones and tablets. Both accept the same login.
Does it work on an Android phone?
Yes. The same subscription works on a phone or tablet, which is useful for watching away from home. One stream at a time unless you ask for a multi-connection line.
Which Android box should I buy?
Any box with at least 2 GB of RAM and Android 9 or newer handles 4K comfortably. Very cheap unbranded boxes are usually the reason people think their IPTV service is slow.
Can I cast from my phone to the TV?
Casting works but adds a layer that can stutter. Installing the app on the TV or box directly is always more stable than casting.
How do I stop the app updating and resetting?
Turn off automatic updates for that app in the Play Store. Updating manually keeps your configuration predictable.
Is Android better than a Firestick?
A good Android box is more powerful and more flexible; a Firestick is cheaper and simpler. Both stream identically — pick on budget and how much configuring you enjoy.
