IPTV for Smart TV UK — No Box Needed

If your television was made in the last few years, you almost certainly do not need to buy anything else. Samsung, LG and Android TVs can all run an IPTV player app directly. Here is what to install on each.

Samsung (Tizen)

Open the Samsung App Store and install IBO Player or Smart IPTV. The app shows a device MAC address — send it to us on WhatsApp and we load your channel list onto it. 2017 models and newer are supported.

LG (webOS)

Identical process through the LG Content Store. Install IBO Player or Smart IPTV, send us the MAC address shown on screen, and your list appears. 2017 models and newer are supported.

Android TV / Google TV

The easiest of the three. Install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiViMate from the Play Store, choose Xtream Codes login, and enter the details we send. Covers Sony, Philips, TCL, Hisense and most 2019+ sets.

Smart TV IPTV — Questions

Do I need a box if I have a smart TV?
Usually not. Samsung and LG both have player apps in their own stores, and Android TVs can install IPTV Smarters or TiViMate directly. A box only helps if your television is old or its app store is very limited.
Which app works on Samsung and LG?
IBO Player and Smart IPTV are the usual choices on both Samsung Tizen and LG webOS. Both charge a small one-off activation fee to the app developer, which is separate from your subscription.
Why do Samsung and LG apps charge a fee?
That fee goes to the app developer, not to us. It is normally a few euros once per television and unlocks the app permanently on that set.
My TV is older than 2016 — will it work?
Possibly not, as older Tizen and webOS versions no longer receive these apps. A £30 Firestick or Android box is the simplest fix and often performs better than the TV's own processor anyway.
Is the picture quality the same as on a box?
Yes, the stream is identical. Very old televisions can be slower to navigate menus, but the video itself is unchanged.
Can I watch on the TV and my phone at the same time?
That needs a multi-connection line. Tell us when you order and we will set one up.
